Another hot & humid day, another “Cold” tune for today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45! From the Rolling Stones it’s “She’s So Cold”!
Released in September of 1980 from their “Emotional Rescue” album, the song was the follow-up single to the title track. The album hit #1 in the U.S., England, and Canada and the recording sessions for this project were so productive, many of the songs that didn’t make this album were included on their ’81 album “Tattoo You”.
“She’s So Cold” went to #9 on the Disco chart which is interesting and to #26 on the Hot 100. The Stones are getting set to release their 25th album “Foreign Tongues” on July 10th and Mick Jagger says they are already thinking about their next project.
