The early 80’s were pretty good for Rick, his 1981 album “Working Class Dog” went double platinum and featured the #1 song “Jessie’s Girl”. His 1982 follow-up LP “Success Hasn’t Spoiled Me Yet” also went platinum. The first single from that album was “Don’t Talk to Strangers” a song that spent 4 weeks at #2, blocked from the top spot by “Ebony & Ivory”.
It’s Rick Springfield with “Don’t Talk to Strangers”. The Forgotten 45 is sponsored by Honey Creek Furniture in Manchester, Eastern Iowa’s fastest growing La-Z-Boy store. You’ll find them at honeycreekfurniture.com.
