This Saturday morning from 9 to noon, 105.7 KOKZ brings you another classic American Top 40 show from the 70’s!  Casey Kasem will feature the top songs from March 15th, 1975, and one of the songs on the show is today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from America it’s “Lonely People”.

From 1972 to 1983 America recorded 11 top 40 hits, the biggest being their #1 songs “A Horse With No Name” and “Sister Golden Hair”.  “Lonely People” appears on their 1974 album “Holiday” which delivered two hit songs, “Tin Man” and “Lonely People” a song that went to 5 on the charts.
