105.7 KOKZ is your home for classic American Top 40 shows every weekend!  This Saturday morning at 9 Casey features the top songs from March 11th, 1978.  Fresh off of Mike Waters featuring name tunes yesterday, as I look at this countdown, that’s all I see.  “Lay Down Sally”, “Peg”, even “What’s Your Name” and “Name of the Game”!  But today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 has two names, from Raydio it’s “Jack & Jill”.

I don’t think Ray Parker and Raydio had the the classic nursery rhyme in mind, for Jack wasn’t just fetching a pail of water!  The song was the first hit for the band and it went to #8 becoming the first of their 5 top 40 hits before Ray Parker Jr. went solo.

Another name tune!  It’s “Jack and Jill” for today’s Forgotten 45 which is sponsored by Honey Creek Furniture in Manchester, Eastern Iowa’s fastest growing La-Z-Boy store.  You’ll find them at honeycreekfurniture.com.
