This Sunday morning at 8 join Casey Kasem for American Top 40 the 80’s! This weekend he features the top songs from February 2nd, 1980 and one of the songs you’ll hear on the show is today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Cheap Trick with “Voices”.
The band out of Rockford, Illinois struck it big with their “Live at Budokan” album which went triple-platinum and featured their first top 10 hit “I Want You to Want Me”. Their follow up album “Dream Police” which also went platinum and featured the title track and “Voices” a song that was released in November of ’79 and went to #32 on the charts.
They’ll be playing some dates at the end of February in Florida, check out Cheap Trick with “Voices” it’s today’s Forgotten 45.
