This Sunday morning at 8 on American Top 40 the 80’s, Casey Kasem features the top songs from November 28th, 1981. One of the songs you’ll hear on the show is today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Air Supply with “Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)”.
The Australian duo of Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell were everywhere between 1979 and 1983 when they had a streak of 8 consecutive top 5 hits like “Lost In Love”, “Every Woman in the World” and “Making Love Out of Nothing At All”. “Here I Am” was released in late August on ’81 and went all the way to #5 on the charts.
Air Supply is still on the road with shows this week in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Virginia. Check out the video of “Here I Am”, it’s today’s Forgotten 45 sponsored by Honey Creek Furniture in Manchester, Eastern Iowa’s fastest growing La-Z-Boy store. You’ll find them at honeycreekfurniture.com.
