John Lennon was born on this date in 1940, so for today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 we remember his music with a tune from 1973 it’s “Mind Games”.
Born October 9th, 1940 in Liverpool, John joined Paul, George, and Ringo for a little band called The Beatles and as a performer, writer, or co-writer was responsible for 25 #1 songs on the Billboard Ho 100 chart. In his solo career from 1969 until his death in 1980, he recorded 14 top 40 hits.
