Miami was hot in the 80’s with “Scarface”, “Miami Vice”, Dan Marino of the Dolphins and that worked out very nicely for the Miami Sound Machine! The first hit the top 40 in 1985 with top 10 hits “Conga”, “Bad Boy”, and “Words Get in the Way”. They continued their hit streak with “Rhythm is Gonna Get You” a #5 hit from “Let It Loose” the final album before Gloria went solo.
