Today is the 40th anniversary of the classic motion picture “Back to the Future” starring Michael J. Fox! In celebration of this 1985 summer smash, today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 is from the movie, it’s Huey Lewis & the News with “Back in Time”.
Marty McFly! Doc Brown! A DeLorean that goes 88 MPH! “Back to the Future” was the #1 movie of 1985 making over 380 million dollars and becoming one of the all-time classics. Of course like most movies in the 80’s it also featured a soundtrack. Huey Lewis & the News went to #1 with “Power of Love” and while “Back in Time” was never officially released as a single, it’s certainly remembered as part of the Summer of ’85.
