The title track from her third album, “Self Control” was released in April of ’84, the song became her third and final top 10 hit reaching #4 on the charts following on her previous hits “Gloria”, and “Solitaire”.
During the peak of her fame, she appeared on TV shows like CHIPS and Knight Rider and even sang on some jingles for Dr. Pepper and Chrysler who sponsored one of her tours in the 80’s.
