Today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 can be heard on the show Sunday at 4pm from Culture Club with “Time (Clock of the Heart)”.
Boy George and Culture Club won the Grammy for Best New Artists in 1983 with smash hits like “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me”, and “Karma Chameleon”. “Time” went to #2 on the charts and was blocked from the #1 spot by Irena Cara’s “Flashdance”. Speaking of Boy George he performed a song from the movie Argyle on the Tonight Show w/Jimmy Fallon last night!
