From 1977 to 1982 Paul Davis was a mainstay on the charts with songs like “I Go Crazy”, “Cool Night”, and “65 Love Affair”. In 1980 the Mississippi born singer hit the charts again with “Do Right” a gospel tinged song that reached #4 on the Adult Contemporary charts and #23 on the Hot 100. After his pop career, he reached #1 twice on the Country charts with a duet with Marie Osmond and with Tanya Tucker and Paul Overstreet.
