Today we celebrate the 61st birthday of the other guy in Wham!, Andrew Ridgeley by going back to 1985 for “I’m Your Man”
George Michael and Andrew teamed up for 7 top 40 hits in the 80’s before George split off to even bigger fame and fortune. “I’m Your Man” appeared on their Music From the Edge of Heaven album and went all the way to #3 on the charts.
So after all these years, how did Andrew feel when his good friend George became a mega-star? “Extremely proud,” he knew of his friends enormous talent and called his envy “affectionate”.
