The English pop band from Sheffield was formed in 1980 and recorded 5 top 40 hits in the 80’s including “Poison Arrow”, “The Look of Love”, “When Smokey Sings”. “Be Near Me” was ABC’s first top 10 hit in the states, reaching #9 on the charts and was their 2nd single from their “How to Be a Zillionaire” LP.
