Welcome to the TuNesDay edition of the Forgotten 45 at 3:45.  For today’s tune, we go back to this week in 1983 for Sheena Easton with “Telefone (Long Distance Love Affair)”.

The song appears on Sheena’s 4th album “Best Kept Secret” and it became the Scottish singer’s 4th top 10 hit (9 to 5, For Your Eyes Only, We’ve Got Tonight w/Kenny Rogers), peaking at #9 in 1983.  The six time Grammy Award nominee was inspired to become a singer after watching Barbra Streisand in “The Way We Were”.

The video is suited for Halloween with Sheena and Dracula, Frankstein, and more! Check out “Telefone” today’s Forgotten 45.
