The band from Sacramento, California took their name from a phrase in the Pink Floyd song “Shine On You Crazy Diamond”. “You Don’t Want Me Anymore” was their first hit single and was an early MTV favorite, which pushed the song to #16 on the Hot 100 in ’82. They had a follow-up called “Dreamin’ Is Easy” which hit #30….and that was it for the Steel Breeze discography!
