The Scottish singer was best known for her hits “Morning Train”, “For Your Eyes Only”, and her duet with Kenny Rogers “We’ve Got Tonight” but her management group didn’t know whether to promote her as a pop or rock artist, and Sheena was worried she was being typecast as a “middle of the road” act that limited her success.
In 1984 she found “Strut” and released the single in 1984 and not only did the song reach #7 on the charts, it also started her move toward a more sexy image.
