This Sunday morning at 8 105.7 KOKZ brings you another classic American Top 40 show from the 80’s. This weekend Casey Kasem takes us back to July 24th, 1982, it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Crosby, Stills, & Nash with “Wasted on the Way”.
The folk rock supergroup with David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash (and don’t forget Neil Young!) made a huge impact on music culture with their tight harmonies and of course their personal battles through the years.
They first hit the charts in the late 60’s with classics like “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes”, and “Teach Your Children” and their 1982 album “Daylight Again” was a comeback of sorts for the group, making it their final project to reach the top 10 before the death of David Crosby. “Wasted on the Way” peaked at #9 in the summer of ’82.
Enjoy the harmonies of Crosby, Stills, & Nash with today’s Forgotten 45.
