Back at it for a Monday with another Forgotten 45 at 3:45! Today’s selection was at the top of the charts this week in 1985, it’s Duran Duran with “A View to a Kill”.
The song was was from the 14th James Bond movie and the final film to star Roger Moore. The movie received mixed reviews from the critics, but the song became the only one from the Bond series to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, besting former Bond songs like “Live and Let Die” by Paul McCartney and “Nobody Does It Better” by Carly Simon that both peaked at #2.
