This Sunday morning at 8 105.7 KOKZ brings you Casey Kasem’s classic American Top 40 the 80’s! This weekend he features the top 40 songs from March 28th, 1981, it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from April Wine “Just Between You and Me”.
The song was the biggest hit for the Canadian band formed in 1969 in Nova Scotia. In fact, “Just Between You and Me” was the first ever video by a Canadian band played on MTV! The song ended up peaking at #21 on the charts.
I remember driving around in my 1973 Mercury Capri cranking up this tune and check out the live performance of the song at the Five Seasons Center in Cedar Rapids as they opened up for Eddie Money!
