When I was a kid, my Uncle Don had an incredible stereo set up, the know the old tower speakers, top notch turntable, the whole works. And I remember vividly that he had the Paul McCartney & Wings “Band on the Run” album. “Jet” was the first single release from this project and it hit #7 on the charts in both the US and in England.
The album became was the top selling project in the UK in 1974 and despite all of his work post-Beatles, this album remains one of his most successful and celebrated.
