The Oscar winning song was the theme for the movie Arthur starring Dudley Moore and Liza Minnelli. The movie starred Moore as a drunken New York City millionaire who ends up falling in love with a working class girl from Queens. The film was a success, making over $95 million dollars at the box office.
As for the song, it was a success as well, reaching #1 for three weeks on the Hot 100 back in 1981. Here’s Christopher Cross with today’s Forgotten 45!
