For the record, I had a fairly severe case beginning May 13th. With 10 days of that, my 14 yr old son had a fever and aches for a day, and loss of sense of taste and smell for a couple week. I had him tested last Friday, the 17th of June, for both the antibodies and the virus. He still had the antibodies (10 weeks later) and negative virus result. His was a very mild case, and is still carrying the antibodies. I have yet to be retested for either, however, I also had the plasma infusion of antibodies during the Mayo trial, on May 25th. That said, everyone’s physiology is different, so each case can be unique. While this story is factual, it also says we still don’t know what we don’t know. This is an ongoing saga that changes in positive and negative ways, day to day. Praying, at some point soon, we get a handle on this so it can be contained. Will probably never be eradicated, but regular inoculations, can certainly save millions.
Covid-19 antibodies may not protect everyone for the same amount of time
