This Saturday morning from 9 to noon, 105.7 KOKZ brings you American Top 40 the 70’s!  This weekend Casey counts down the top songs from October 29th, 1977, it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Chicago with “Baby What a Big Surprise”!

The song was written and sung by Peter Cetera and was the lead single from their Chicago XI album. The song reached #4 on the charts and was the last top ten hit for the band before the accidental death of Terry Kath at the age of 31.

Formed in 1967 as Chicago Transit Authority, the band sold over 40 million records world wide with multiple platinum records. The original lineup was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
