Today we go back 30 years to this week in 1992 when this song was climbing the charts, from Eurythmics singer Annie Lennox with her solo hit “Walking on Broken Glass”.
Best known for teaming up with Dave Stewart for hits “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), and “Here Comes the Rain Again”, Annie released her first solo album in ’92 called “Diva”. The album sold 2 million copies in the States and “Glass” was a #1 hit in Canada, a top ten hit in the UK, and reached #14 in the U.S.
