Diamond Dave was always a showman, but the video era allowed him to be even more creative, creating some of the most memorable and funny videos on MTV. “Yankee Rose” was the first single from his full length EP “Eat Em and Smile” and became his 3rd solo top 20 hit following “Calfornia Girls”, “Just a Gigolo/I Ain’t Got Nobody”. “Yankee Rose” peaked at #16 on charts in ’86.
