The band from Chicago burst on to the scene in 1982 with “Eye of the Tiger” which was a mutli-week #1 song tied in with Rocky III and the band hit the top 10 four more times in the 80’s with “High On You”, “Burning Heart”, and “Is This Love”.
“The Search Is Over” hit #4 on the charts in Spring of ’85 and is found on their “Vital Signs” album. It’s a classic 80’s power ballad and today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45!
