Rock and Roll legend Mick Jagger is 79 years old today! He’s still out touring the world with the Stones and basically thumbing his nose at the aging process!
For today’s Forgotten 45, we’re going back to 1985 (when Mick was a youngster of just 42!!) for his duet with David Bowie “Dancing In the Street”. The song reached #7 on the charts in ’85. The two got together that year at the request of Bob Geldof for his Live Aid marathon. The original idea was to have Bowie live in London and Mick in Philly, but the logistics made that impossible.
Instead the two put together a video that debuted and is either silly or completely awesome depending on your point of view!
