As we head into the holiday weekend, a reminder that KOKZ brings you Absolutely 80’s every Saturday night from 9 to midnight with Nina Blackwood. It’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 from The Fixx “Red Skies”.
The band from England was best known for hits like “One Thing Leads to Another” and “Saved by Zero”, and while “Red Skies” didn’t officially make the pop charts, it did make the rock charts and was heard in Eastern Iowa back in ’82.
