Gary Wright was a 2 hit wonder, with both songs reaching #2 on the charts, of course the other being “Dream Weaver” a song we still play often on KOKZ. The song was blocked from the top spot that year by “Kiss and Say Goodbye” by the Manhattans, and “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” by Elton John and Kiki Dee.
