Today would’ve been the 64th birthday of Prince Rogers Nelson born June 7th, 1958.  Born and raised in Minneapolis, Prince became one of music’s brightest stars selling 150 million records and releasing 39 albums!

Prince’s music is ingrained into the 80’s generation with iconic songs like “Let’s Go Crazy”, “When Doves Cry”, and of course “Purple Rain”.  Sadly Prince passed away from an accidental overdose in April of 2016.  To this day his Paisley Park home is a museum of all things Prince located just 30 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.

For today’s Forgotten 45, we go back to 1987’s “Sign of the Times” album for “I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man” a #10 hit from that year.

Check out Prince with today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45!
