This Sunday morning from 8 to noon, Casey Kasem counts down the top 40 songs from May 30th, 1987. The countdown features two songs by Crowded House back to back. Their biggest hit “Don’t Dream It’s Over” and today’s Forgotten 45, “Something So Strong”.
The song reached #7 on chart eventually for the band made up of members from Australia and New Zealand. They sold over 15 million albums world-wide, but in the States, they were a two hit wonder.
