Boz Scaggs is coming to Cedar Rapids August 26th to play a show at McGrath Amphitheatre with opening act The Robert Cray Band. It should be a great show on the banks of the Cedar River.
For today’s Forgotten 45 we go back to 1980 for his top 15 hit “Breakdown Dead Ahead”. The song was the lead single from his “Middle Man” album. It was co-written by Boz and David Foster, a 16 time Grammy winning composer and musician. Steve Lukather of Toto played guitar and even Ray Parker Jr. was featured on this tune.
