Back in the day when we only had 4 channels, rabbit ear antennas, and you were the remote control for your old man, Starsky & Hutch was must see TV in the 70’s! Starsky played by Paul Michael Glaser, the dark-haired, Brooklyn transplant, with a street-wise manner and “Hutch” played by David Soul, the blond, Duluth, Minnesota, native with a more reserved and intellectual approach, tearing through the streets of California in their cool car.
Today’s Actor That Sings is David Soul who hit #1 in 1977 with today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45, “Don’t Give Up On Us”. Sadly, David was a one-hit wonder in the U.S. and after several decades in tv and films, became a British citizen in 2004.
