ABBA – Take A Chance On Me
It’s the second single from the 1977 album, ‘ABBA: The Album’ and also became of their biggest hits all over the world.
“Take A Chance On Me” is one the bands most energetic and rhytmic songs, according to several music critics. The rhythm comes from Bjorn’s jogging and the sound his shoes made as he ran, “tck-a-ch”. That sound evolved into the repeating “Take-A-Chance, Take-A-Chance, Take-a-chicka-chance-chance” behind the lyrics.
The song was Top 10 in many countries, peaked at #3 here and topped the U.K Singles chart.
