The single was released from his album, ‘Camouflage’ and features Jeff Beck on guitar, who makes a cameo in the video!
There are two different endings made for the video. One ending, Rod loses the girl at the end to a mobster as they drive off (FYI – The mobster is played by Stewart). In the other, the faceless mobster drives away alone and Rod and the girl of his infatuation, remain in each other’s arms on the merry-go-round.
It climbed the charts thanks, in big part, to MTV! It peaked at #6 on 1984.
