Jerry Reed – When You’re Hot You’re Hot

A big hit and country cross-over for Jerry Reed in 1971!
An illegal, back alley craps game is going on and the singer is on a winning run. Cops bust it up and take all the money for evidence and arrest the singer.
He ends up in court, tries to bribe the judge (an old fishing buddy he owes money to) and the judge gives him jail time rather than a fine like the other two players.
“When You’re Hot You’re Hot” climbed the country chart, peaking at #1 for five weeks and became a Top 10 on Top 40, making it to the #9 spot!
