‘Brick By Brick’ was Iggy Pop’s ninth studio album as a solo artist. It was very much more pop than most of his previous albums that were more alternative or even garage/punk.
His duet with The B52’s Kate Pierson on “Candy” was a Hot 100 hit that peaked at #24 making it the biggest commercial, mainstream hit of his career.
