Ruth, Anita, and June Pointer recorded 16 top 40 hits between 1973 and 1986 and in 1980 they released “He’s So Shy” a song originally written for Leo Sayer. Described as a cross between “He’s So Fine” and “What a Fool Believes” the song became the sisters second top 5 hit reaching #3 on the Hot 100.
