The Red Rocker has been rocking since the 70’s when he was the lead vocalist for Montrose and as a solo artist scored his biggest chart hit with “Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy” in 1983. In ’85 Sammy joined Van Halen replacing David Lee Roth and group recorded 4 #1 albums over the next ten years.
In June of ’87 Sammy released his 9th album “I Never Said Goodbye” which was recorded in just ten days to appease his former record company. “Give To Live” ended up being his final top 40 chart hit reaching #23.
