Today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 was on the charts July 30th, 1983, from The Fixx it’s “Saved By Zero”.
The British band received some airplay in the early 80’s with their songs “Stand Or Fall” and “Red Skies” but in the Summer of ’83 they released their album “Reach the Beach” which sold over 2 million copies and delivered their biggest hit “One Thing Leads To Another” and “Saved By Zero” a song that spent 16 weeks on the charts and peaked at #20.
A song that just sounds 80’s! From ’83 it’s The Fixx with “Saved By Zero” it’s today’s Forgotten 45.
