Welcome to the Monday Forgotten 45 at 3:45! I figure if we’re going to be suffering with Excessive Heat Warnings, we could use some “cold”. From Paula Abdul it’s “Cold Hearted”.
The singer just celebrated her 64th birthday, the former Laker girl & choreographer released her debut album “Forever Your Girl” in 1988 and set a record with the most #1 songs from a first album. “Straight Up”, “Forever Your Girl”, “Opposites Attract” and “Cold Hearted” all went to the top of the chart. “Cold Hearted” spent 21 weeks on the charts and went on to be the 6th biggest song of 1989.
Of course the video put Paula’s dance moves to work! It’s Paula Abdul with “Cold Hearted” on a hot Monday, it’s today’s Forgotten 45.
