The group that originally started as Jefferson Airplane recorded 9 Top 40 hits between 1975 and 1984, the biggest hits being the top ten tunes “Miracles” and “Count On Me” in the 70’s. Mickey Thomas joined the group in 1979 and was lead singer with the group as they changed to Starship and hit #1 twice with “We Built This City” and “Sara”.
“Find Your Way Back” appears on their 1981 “Modern Times” album and the song went to #29 on the Hot 100. The band will be in Cedar Rapids performing at McGrath Amphitheatre on September 25th along with Pure Prairie League, Firefall, and Atlanta Rhythm Section and tickets are on-sale now.
