If you are traveling this holiday weekend, be safe on the roads! Today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 was inspired by the Waters Wake-Up Call texters and our Facebook post about cars that remind you of high school. From 1982 it’s Sammy Hagar with “I’ll Fall in Love Again”.
From his 6th album “Standing Hampton”, it was Sammy’s first platinum album selling over a million copies and featuring “There’s Only One Way to Rock” and “I’ll Fall in Love Again”, a song that went to #2 on the rock charts and just missed the top 40.
I found an old MTV2 video of the Red Rocker performing the song with a red TransAm on stage so we’re combining a road trip tune with a road trip car. It’s Sammy Hagar with “I’ll Fall in Love Again” it’s today’s Forgotten 45.
