For the Monday Forgotten 45 at 3:45 we go back to the charts on February 9th, 1985 for Steve Perry with “Foolish Heart”.
THE voice of Journey from 1977 to 1987 and again from 1995 to 1998, Steve released his first solo album “Street Talk” in April of 1984. The album sold 2 million copies and featured the #3 song “Oh Sherrie” written for his then girlfriend, and “Foolish Heart” a song that went to #18 on the pop charts and #2 on the Adult Contemporary charts. Two other songs from the album made the top 40 “She’s Mine” and “Strung Out”.
