Since it’s Groundhog Day I was thinking shadows, so today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 is from Andy Gibb with “Shadow Dancing”.
America’s expert on all things weather Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning, so according to lore we’ll get another 6 weeks of winter. Damn you Phil! Today’s Forgotten 45 is from the youngest Gibb brother Andy who followed in his Bee Gee brothers footsteps and had a run of three straight #1 songs in 1977 and 78 with “I Just Want to Be Your Everything”, “Love is Thicker Than Water”, and “Shadow Dancing” a song that spent 7 weeks at the top of the chart.
Unfortunately Andy’s life was cut short because of drug abuse and he sadly passed away in 1988 at the far too young age of 30. We’re cursing the groundhog, but enjoy a fun 70’s tune from Andy Gibb it’s “Shadow Dancing” today’s Forgotten 45 which is sponsored by Honey Creek Furniture in Manchester, Eastern Iowa’s fastest growing La-Z-Boy store.
