Released in the Fall of ’81, the song was his first solo hit from his very first solo album “Law and Order”. He enlisted the help of Mick Fleetwood to play drums on the track and he also appears in the video for the song along with Walter Egan, Bob Welch, and Dwight Twilley.
“Trouble” was a #1 hit in Australia and South Africa and was a #9 hit in the U.S. Despite all of his success with Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham would only have one other top 40 hit, the 1984 song “Go Insane”.
