This Sunday morning at 8 on American Top 40 the 80’s, Casey Kasem features the top songs from November 28th, 1981.  One of the great songs you’ll hear on the show is today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45, from George Benson it’s “Turn Your Love Around”.

The Pittsburgh area native began his career at age 19 as a jazz guitarist before launching a solo career that earned him 10 Grammy Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  He hit the charts in the 70’s with tunes like “This Masquerade” and “On Broadway”. “Turn Your Love Around” was recorded for his greatest hits album The George Benson Collection.  The song went to #5 on the charts in early ’82.
