The all-female group out of Los Angeles formed in 1979 but it wasn’t until ’84 that they found national attention with the biggest of their 3 top 40 hits “I Miss You”. Released in November of ’85 the song went to #5 on the charts and because it stayed on the charts well into 1986, it was the #3 song of that year.
