Happy Friday!  The TV show “E.R.” debuted on this date in 1994.  The medical drama based in Chicago ran for 15 years starring Anthony Edwards, George Clooney, Sherry Springfield and more.  Also on the charts September 19th, 1994 was today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from John Mellencamp with his remake of “Wild Night”.

The original version of the song was written and sung by Van Morrison in 1971, his version of the tune went to #28 on the charts.  John Mellencamp’s version was released in ’94 from his album “Dance Naked” and “Wild Night” went all the way to #3 on the charts becoming his final top 10 hit.
